Shaaanxo x Colourpop Eyeshadows

Hey guys!!

I have been trying out lots of products that I want to review and these products I am talking about today it was only a week and a half, but I am so obsessed with it that I HAD to talk about it ASAP!

I had seen Colourpop allllll over YouTube and Instagram so I had been interested in trying them out. When I was in NYC I went to my friend Krystelle's place and she has a few of the Colourpop eyeshadows. I swatched them and I was dying on how amazingly they swatched! They were so PIGMENTED! I knew that I was going to need to get some soon.

When I saw that Shaaanxo had collaborated with Colourpop I had to get the eyeshadows she created with them. I knew I wasn't going to be disappointed, but I did have a little doubt I don't know why. This foursome is $20.

I was excited when it came in the mail. I like the fact that they included a card with a quote.

I adore the packaging so much that I am going to keep it in there the whole time till I use it up if I ever do haha.

Here are the shadows that came in this foursome.

(Top: Deluxe. Middle: Xo. Bottom: Rebel and Selfie)

These eyeshadows have a very interesting consistency and texture. I had heard these feel kinda wet when you touch them, but when applied on the eyes its feels like a powder. I agree with that statement! These apply good with your finger if applied on the lid. These are highly pigmented with just one swipe.

(Left to Right: Rebel, Selfie, Xo, and Deluxe)

Rebel is a pretty matte khaki green, Selfie is a pretty matte peachy brown, Xo is a pretty pearlized champagne color, and Deluxe is a pretty pearlized warm bronze shade. Xo reminds me a lot of the Makeup Geek eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma. I honestly don't have a favorite shade I LOVE all of them and that is rare for me. (I got shade descriptions from website)

I use my fingers like I said for if I am applying on my lids, but I also use my Real Techniques Deluxe Crease Brush to apply the color Selfie to apply on my crease. I would have thought that with the consistency of the product that it would either crease or even be difficult for me to blend. Glad to say that I was so WRONG! These shadows blend like a DREAM! One thing I LOVE is that there is no fallout with these shadows. Just remember if you buy these shadows close the lid tightly so the product won't dry out.

Overall I am now obsessed with these Colourpop eyeshadows and I highly recommend you guys to try them out. If you don't like these shades in this foursome you can always choose single eyeshadows for $5 each. They have unique shades that I don't have in my collection and I need them in my life. I will definitely try some more out hopefully soon. I am on a no buy right now unless it is things I NEED. Wish me luck guys because it is so hard!

Have you guys tried Colourpop shadows?? What are some of your favorite shades??

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox

Hey guys!!! I received the Laura Mercier TLSP VoxBox complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes and I was really excited cause I actually already loved using this product and I got a backup for it thanks to this box. #contest #HowDoYouTLSP I actually used to use the Invisible Loose Setting Powder and I really did enjoy it, BUT I think the Loose Translucent Powder is a little bit better.  You can check my Instagram:  theladypsyche and see how my skin looks after setting my face since 100% of the time I use this product.  I use it to bake my under eyes, bake my contour, and set my entire face. My skin doesn't look cakey or dry when I use this product. It leaves my skin looking flawless and helps prevent my concealer from creasing.  I do recommend if you are dry to not bake and just use this product to set everything because it can make you look dry if you do bake. I actually have combination skin so this product works perfectly for me ...

Battle of the Eye Primers

Hey guys!! I have oily eyelids and I struggled when I was younger with my eyeshadows and eyeliner creasing. At the time I never understood why. I went into sephora a couple years ago with my best friend and asked "how can I stop that from happening?" That's when I was introduced to eye primers. My first ever eye primer was the Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I have been testing out 6 different eyelid primers and out of the six only two did not work for me. I decided to do this blog for the people that have that same issue as me and to show you guys what options there are out there in the make up world from drugstore to high end.   I tried the ELF Eyelid Primer, Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer, Mary Kay eye primer, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Too Faced Shadow Isurance, and BareMinerals Prime Time Primer. I'm going to start off with the one that was the worst one out of all of these. It was the Rimmel Exaggerate Undercover Shadow Primer. $4.99 ...
