ELF Studio Baked Highlighter

Hey guys!!!

I have been on the search for a good powder highlighter and when I saw Ashley aka SuperAshley127 and Kathleen aka KathleenLights on YouTube talk about the ELF baked highlighters I knew I had to try them out. I found out they were $3 and I was sold.

There was 3 shades to choose from, but I decided to go with Moonlight Pearls. I already have somewhat of a bronze highlighter which I will talk about later and I heard that Moonlight Pearls is a dupe to Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm so that's why I went with this one. I had been wanting The Balm's highlighter for a while and I thought why not this one?

It is a gorgeous champagne color and when I swatched this in store I was impressed at how pigmented it was.
(Left: Dry Right:Wet)

Could you die at this pigmentation though?! I love the beautiful glow it gives to my cheekbones. Depending on my mood I will apply it wet or dry.  When I use it wet I spray my brush with the ELF Makeup Mist & Set and then apply it to my cheeks. I even use it on top of a cream highlighter to also make it pop even more.

This product last a long time on my cheeks, but it does last longer wet and on top of a cream highlighter on me. I apply my makeup at 5:45am and it only starts to fade a little bit at 1pm. To me that is a great amount of time before fading for a product that is just $3.

Overall I am so in love with this product! I don't see myself without this product in my collection. If you are into highlighters I do recommend you to try this out.

Have you guys tried this product out?? What are your thoughts on it?? What are some of your favorite ELF products??

P.S. If you guys don't watch the two girls I mentioned in the beginning you definitely should. I am obsessed with their videos and if you love tutorials, lip swatches, reviews, and more then these girls are definitely the ones to watch! I actually met Ashley at IMATS and she was very sweet.

Rose and Ben Beauty Brushes

Hey guys!! I haven't done a beauty post in a while and I was in the mood to do one because I am very excited to talk about these! I started follow Rose on IG roseandben  thanks to my friend and I have been loving her content. You can see the passion she has for makeup. I love that she posts on IG stories almost everyday doing a tutorial or talking about her fav products.  I have actually purchased and few of her recommendations and 99% of the products I have bought have become staples in my collection.  When she announced she was coming out with a brand  Rose and Ben Beauty  I just knew it would be brushes because she would always be using prototypes in her tutorials. I trusted her judgment in products soooo I bought most of the collection.  Aren't these brushes beautiful?? When I first got the brushes I felt the bristles and they were so soft. The quality of the bristles and even the handles feels so luxurious. I love the color of the handles too. I ...

Home Chef

Hey guys!!! Do you guys ever struggle to figure out what to make for dinner everyday?? Do you guys want to change it up every once in a while and try something new??  That was me a few months back and I ran across Home Chef in a YouTube video and I clicked on the link she had and I tried it out! They make it really easy for you! They send a a binder so you can use it to put all the new recipes that you receive for future usage. You go online to your account and they have about 15 different meals for you to choose from. You can either order for 2 servings or 4 servings. Also you can customize your account if you are vegetarian or have any allergies so they will not show you the meals that you are unable to eat. Each meal doesn't take long to do. It can take you about 30 minutes for you to do each meal. This was one of the first meals I made: Crispy BBQ Tofu The ingredients for each recipe comes in separate bags and are organized. Each ingredient is por...

Nails of the Week

Hey guys!!! I decided to talk about what is on my nails for the week. I will be doing this a couple times a month since I like to change my nail colors frequently! I used China Glaze polish in the color Frostbite and on top i used the Wet n Wild Wild Shine glitter polish. I am not too sure what the name of it is, but it is my favorite glitter polish to use. This was my first time using a China Glaze nail polish, but I was kinda disappointed. I had to apply the color about 3-4 times for it to be this pretty bright color. If you don't have time to sit there and apply this many coats and wait for it to dry I don't recommend this color.  The upside about this nail polish is that it lasts on your nails without chipping. Normally mine start chipping after 3 days because I wash my hands so many times a day since I work with kids. Right now its the 6th day and I only have minor chipping. Maybe I will try another color in this brand soon. You guys have any recommendatio...
